During treatment, your enamel is trimmed to make room for the crown, which is then permanently attached to the tooth. Crowns cover damaged teeth all the way down to your gum line. Then, he will take an impression of your tooth. Your impressions will be sent to a trusted lab where your custom crown will be built. Dr. Khanani will create a temporary crown for you to wear in the meantime. Once your crown arrives at our office, you will come in for your final appointment. Dr. Khanani will check the crown to make sure it looks and feels perfect, and make minor adjustments, if necessary. Then, the crown will be permanently attached to your tooth with special dental cement. You’ll leave our office with a beautiful, natural-looking replacement.
