Insurance

Our office accepts a variety of different insurance carriers. Please call our office and our team will help determine your dental benefit as estimated by your insurance carrier.

While your health care or dental insurance will cover some of the cost of your treatment, it may not cover all of it. As a courtesy, we accept assignment of benefits and do our best to accurately determine the amount the insurer will pay. The remaining balance is the responsibility of the patient and is expected at the time that treatment is provided.

We are in-network with the following insurance companies:

  • Delta Dental Premier
  • BlueCross BlueShield
  • Cigna
  • Altus
  • United HealthCare
  • Guardian

Cash, Credit, or Check

We try to make it easy to fit dental care into your budget. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, and most major credit cards, including VISA®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and American Express®.

FAQS

Keeping Our Patients Informed

What happens during a routine preventive visit?

When you come in for your biannual exam, we will thoroughly assess your teeth and gums and keep a close eye out for any dental health issues. We’ll check for decay, cavities, and gum disease (the most common oral health conditions), and Dr. Khanani will also perform an oral cancer screening. Your teeth will be thoroughly cleaned using specialized dental tools that reach surfaces that cannot be cleaned by brushing and flossing alone.

When should I bring my child to the dentist for the first time?

The American Dental Association recommends that parents bring their children to the dentist when their first tooth erupts or when they turn one year old, whichever comes first. Early pediatric dentistry ensures that your child’s oral development is on track and gives Dr. Khanani an opportunity to answer any questions you may have about your child’s teething process.

What is gum disease?

Gum disease is one of the most common dental health issues in the U.S. and it affects nearly half of American adults. If you notice blood when you brush or floss, puffy gums, or a receding gum line, these are all symptoms of gum disease. If left untreated, this condition can cause serious, irreversible damage to your teeth and gums, resulting in premature tooth loss. Call us today to schedule an appointment if you suspect that you are suffering from periodontal disease.

I want to change the perception of dentistry by building relationships based on trust.

Janet A.

So happy that Dr. Waterfall chose Dr. Khanani to take over the practice when he retired. Dr. Khanani is a top-notch dentist with an old world bedside manner. He always shows the utmost concern for a patient’s comfort and called me in the evening after getting a crown put in last winter and after an emergency visit recently to repair a broken tooth  I would highly recommend Dr. Khanani and his friendly and caring staff. If you are looking for a new dentist you won’t find a better one in the area!

Michael V.

"Dr. Khanani recently fixed a cavity for me and the whole experience was a breeze.  Upon completing the work Dr. Khanani insisted that I call if I have any questions or concerns.  He even followed up with a phone call and text message that evening to make sure that I was pain free.  I can tell that Dr. Khanani is very passionate about his work and I would highly recommend Khanani Family Dental."
