Dr. Salman Khanani
Dr. Salman Khanani was inspired to pursue a career in healthcare by his father, a respected hematologist and oncologist who has faithfully served Worcester County for over 30 years. Growing up witnessing the profound impact compassionate, skilled care can have on patients’ lives instilled in him a deep commitment to service. While he was drawn to medicine early on, Dr. Khanani chose dentistry for its unique ability to transform lives through both intellectual precision and hands-on artistry.
Dr. Khanani earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before attending Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Harlem Hospital Center, an affiliate of Columbia University, where he was honored as Resident of the Year. During his residency, he developed advanced clinical expertise in endodontics, dento-alveolar surgery, and prosthodontics, treating complex cases in a hospital-based setting.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Khanani has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education across all aspects of dentistry, with an advanced focus on full-arch implant rehabilitation and cosmetic dentistry. He has developed a particular passion for full-arch dental implants and Teeth-in-a-Day solutions, allowing patients to walk out with a fully functional, confident smile in just one day. For Dr. Khanani, these procedures represent the pinnacle of what modern dentistry can achieve — restoring not only oral function, but dignity, confidence, and quality of life.
In 2019, Dr. Khanani founded Khanani Family Dental with a clear vision: to provide an exceptional dental experience to families throughout Worcester County. By integrating advanced technologies such as same-day crowns, 3D printing, digital impressions, guided implant surgery, and high-resolution photography, he and his team are able to deliver precision-driven, efficient, and remarkably comfortable care. His mission is to make transformative dentistry accessible in a setting that feels welcoming, modern, and patient-centered.
Dr. Khanani resides in North Grafton with his wife and their three children — twin boys and a young daughter. Though he takes great pride in his professional accomplishments and the many smiles he has restored, he considers his most meaningful role to be that of husband and father. For Dr. Khanani, excellence in dentistry and devotion to family are equally important parts of a life well lived.
