Dr. Salman Khanani
Growing up, Dr. Khanani’s father was an Oncologist serving the Worcester community at Saint Vincent’s Hospital. Seeing the satisfaction that his father had while treating and caring for his patients instilled the importance of providing meaningful care for others. When he realized that dentistry is a combination of both medicine and art, Dr. Khanani was hooked.
Dr. Khanani earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine where he graduated magna cum laude. Shortly after obtaining his degree, Dr. Khanani moved to New York City to complete his general practice residency at the Harlem Hospital Center, an affiliate of Columbia University, where he was awarded "Resident of the Year" for his excellence in clinical skills and patient management.
Throughout the course of his residency, Dr. Khanani gained valuable skills in general and cosmetic dentistry as well as management of medically compromised patients and treating patients in the emergency and operating room.
After completing his residency, Dr. Khanani moved back to Massachusetts to continue providing outstanding dental care in his home state.
He is dedicated to continuing education, and is currently taking courses in implant education with Implant Pathways, and he is also a member of a local Spear Study Club. Dr. Khanani is always looking for ways to provide a better overall patient experience and is passionate about making Khanani Family Dental a one-stop-shop for your every oral health need.
When he is not at the office, Dr. Khanani enjoys traveling with his wife, playing basketball and rooting for the Patriots and Celtics.
He is also venturing into the scene of improv comedy and is currently taking improv classes in Cambridge!
